Our Mission
The primary objective of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kokrajhar is to impart sound formation (religious, moral, mental, social and physical).
Don Bosco School, Kokrajhar, established in 1993, is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to and managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco Educational Society. Guided by the religious and educational philosophy of St. John Bosco, the school was founded to bring education within the reach of common man.
Being a Catholic institution, (The institution, established by the Catholic Church,) the School is meant primarily for Catholics, but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste and community.
The primary objective of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kokrajhar is to impart sound formation (religious, moral, mental, social and physical).
The method of education followed in the institution is the one taught and practised by St. John Bosco (1815-1888), a great educator of youth.
The School organizes an array of co-curricular activities for the total development of the students. All the students are obliged to take part in these. We strongly believe that excellence in academics alone doesn’t make a complete person.
The method of education followed in the institution is the one taught and practised by St. John Bosco (1815-1888), a great educator of youth. It is based on the reverential love of God, on conviction, on the helpful presence of the educator, timely corrections and guidance.
We offer an education which values and nurtures the religious, spiritual, intellectual, moral, cultural, aesthetic, social and physical growth of each student. We foster “student-student” and “teacher-student” relationship as an appropriate model, which empowers all students to develop a sense of purpose and respect for self, others and the environment.
